EL MIRAGE DRY LAKE FROM LOS ANGELES, take the 10 or 60 East towards San Bernandino. unitil you come to the 15. Take the 15 north towards Vegas until you come to US 395,(right after you climb the Hill) take that North (it starts at the 15 so you can only go ONE direction) When you come to the city of Adelanto, look for Crippen Road and make a LEFT (west) until you come to a dead end ( a T crossing) Make a RIGHT (north) at that street (there are sign that point to the El Mirage Dry lake) you will follow that road (it will curve West in about 1 mile)follow along for at least 5 miles and the El MIrage Dry Lake entrance sign will be on your Rigth Hand side of the road. Take that dirt road UNTIL you see a sign on your right hand side that says "Access Road" Turn right into the lake and we are about 1/2 a mile in towards the left hand side (straight and a little to the left) Below are some other instructions I found on a web page incase they help. From Palmdale (CA), take Palmdale Boulevard east to 240th Street and turn north (left). At Avenue P, turn east (right). At the San Bernardino County line, Avenue P becomes El Mirage Road. Follow El Mirage Road through the community of El Mirage to Mountain View Road and follow the signs to the Dry lake Entance.
